To enhance its literature collection and preserve the record of civil society movements in Indonesia, KITLV-Jakarta is actively conducting working visits to various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) across the Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi) area.

On July 13, 2026, KITLV-Jakarta had the opportunity to visit three organizations, each distinguished by its unique line of work. Publish What You Pay (PWYP) Indonesia excels in promoting transparency and accountability in natural resource governance and energy transition; the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) offers sharp, public-oriented, independent economic analysis; while Indonesia for Global Justice (IGJ) consistently advocates for international trade justice to safeguard the rights of affected communities.

They welcomed us with open arms and marked by the handover of numerous valuable publications, including printed research books, physical reports, and digital documents.

In the period of June to August, KITLV-Jakarta team also concluded other acquisition trips to Palembang South Sumatra, Purwokerto in Central Java, and Yogyakarta. Their exciting journeys can be found here.
